But ratherly this doesn't put enough action and the drum doesn't sound like a drum.

The slow part is like an intro, with the later half as a title screen/theme. Every play EarthWorm Jim on the Genesis? That game uses these exact same drums. Sure, it sounds a little like something from STOMP, but that's the music style that the game would have.
